BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY
One of the most empowering ways we can help the people of Zimbabwe is to make sure all children have access to quality education. Educated children are able to break the cycle of poverty and be equipped for a successful future. But there are huge barriers to children trying to access education. Often children are required to work to contribute money to the family so that everyone can eat. Families can't afford school fees + uniforms + stationary to send their kids to school. Our goals are:
- Break the cycle of poverty.
- Remove monetary barriers to education .
- See more children graduate high school.
- Equip young adults with the skills they need to thrive.

Without a good quality education, a child is ill-equipped to overcome the challenges of poverty. They will be stuck in the poverty cycle, surviving in life but never succeeding. Our desire at Kiwilink is to see more children educated to a higher level so that they have the tools they need to thrive in their adult life and break the poverty cycle for their future children. In turn, communities will start to thrive, and new creative solutions to local problems will come. It’s not just formal education that happens in a classroom. Social skills, confidence, problem solving, adaptability, empathy and communication skills are all developed within the classroom environment too.

Education helps children to feel more confident to face any obstacle they may face in life.
Removing financial barriers in education mean children can gain knowledge and skills that not only help themselves but helps their families and communities too.

Its essential for children to be educated and equipped with the skills they need to gain future employment or develop their own businesses. It is not only for an individual childs benefit, their families, future children and communities will all benefit.
